This one was hard to watch, folks. During Kairi Sane vs. Iyo Sky, Kairi hit a brutal Alabama Slam ON THE APRON, and Iyo’s head smacked the edge like a brick wall. It looked scary—and it was.

Let me be very clear: Apron spots are getting out of control. Yes, I get it—it’s “simulated combat,” you want to create danger and drama. But here’s the truth:
You’re dealing with real bodies, real risk, real injuries.

Adam Cole basically had to retire because of one of these apron moves. And now we’re watching Iyo Sky’s head bounce off the edge like it’s no big deal?
It IS a big deal. These aren’t safe spots. They aren’t necessary. And one day, someone’s not going to get up.

Wrestlers deserve to be protected. Storytelling shouldn’t come at the cost of someone's career—or worse, their health.

We love the action, we love the risks—but there’s a line.
And that line is the ring apron.
