Ted Cruz is misquoting the Bible to try and prove their point

A commentator questioned the way some U.S. lawmakers use the Bible to justify their positions on Israel, pointing out their lack of real understanding of the sacred text. “When Senator Cruz was asked about this, he couldn’t even quote the Bible correctly,” he stated.

He explained that many politicians repeat the verse “those who bless Israel will be blessed, and those who curse Israel will be cursed,” but that is not the original text from Genesis. “In fact, it says: ‘I will bless those who bless Abraham,’ which is quite different,” he emphasized.

He also criticized figures like Lindsey Graham for basing political decisions on misinterpretations of Scripture: “They can’t even quote correctly this supposed scripture they claim tells them what to do. It’s so absurd, it’s sad.”
