After years of delay, God calls His people through Haggai to rebuild His temple — not just a structure, but a symbol of His presence among them. In their obedience, they rediscover God’s blessing, purpose, and promise of future glory.

Questions:
1. What does Haggai teach us about the connection between obedience and experiencing God’s presence?

2. How might we be tempted to prioritize our comfort over God’s calling in our own lives?

3. God promises that the future glory of His house will surpass the former — how does that point forward to Jesus and the Church today?
