The Days of Creation by Heart

In Proverbs 22:6 we read, "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” In Deuteronomy 6 the Israelites were told “Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise. ” (Deuteronomy 6:4-8) Training and discipling our children in the faith is a process of living the faith before them and engaging them in learning various elements of the faith. Good resources that engage the child and the parent together are helpful.
