Democrat VA AG Candidate’s 2022 Texts Expose Death Wish for Former Speaker and Family

This scandal is shaking Virginia’s 2025 elections, Democratic AG nominee Jay Jones faces backlash after 2022 texts surfaced. In the texts he mused about shooting former House Speaker Todd Gilbert “two bullets to the head” and wishing his children dead so Gilbert could “experience what it feels like to lose loved ones.” Disgusting. Of course none of the Democrats are calling for Jones to back out of the race like they should.
