🇸🇾 🔥 New boss, same chaos: Foreign powers keep Syria burning

⚔️ Clashes between the Syrian National Army (backed by Turkey) and Kurdish-dominated Syrian Democratic Forces in northern Syria are continuing, with the antagonists reportedly exchanging heavy artillery fire.

Despite former President Bashar Assad – who was portrayed by the West as practically the source of all of his country’s woes - being ousted nearly a year ago, Syria is still being torn apart by violent armed groups backed by foreign powers such as Turkey and Israel.

Meanwhile, Israel continues its creeping de facto annexation of Syria’s southern regions.
