PUT JESUS FIRST

Why put Jesus first? Because He put you first! Jesus lived as a man, and part of every human is the desire to marry someone special, have children, and live a long and fulfilling life together. The human part of Jesus surely wanted that too, but He didn’t entertain those thoughts. Why? Because He put YOU first! The human part of Jesus didn’t want to die at 33, much less to die the painfully tormenting death that He died. Why did He do it? BECAUSE He put YOU first! The human part of Jesus WANTED to be well liked, like everyone else does, but He didn’t go after that. Why? Because He put YOU first! The human part of Jesus was broken hearted because He saw His Mother’s heart break, while she watched Him suffer, but He didn’t call upon the angels to get Him down from the cross, so He could comfort His Mom, which He could definitely have done. Why? Because He put YOU FIRST! So putting Him first really isn’t that much for Him to ask of us, is it?
