Footage shows Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood urging crowds to “give out an almighty roar” and saying “we will not stay silent until Palestine is free.” Taken at face value, that rhetoric edges dangerously close to endorsing extremes — and begs the question: what exactly did she mean by “free”?
