MI District 9 - Alyson Edwards

Alyson Edwards is the newly elected Chair of Sanilac County Republican Party. She joins Eileen to talk about the importance of getting involved in local politics and becoming a Precinct Delegate. She also sits on the MIGOP District 9 Events Committee which is planning a Townhall event on September 3, 2025. See details below.

I was born and raised in Oakland County. I have lived here in Sanilac County since 1990. I am a wife, mother and grandmother. I will be married 40 years this October. I was the bookkeeper for my husband’s business for 35 years. I became a precinct delicate in 2022 and the chair of Sanilac County Republican Party in January of this year. I got involved in politics because the Covid was a real wake up Call/alarm.
