“Continue steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine.”

The Old Testament is as much the Word of God as the New Testament. The Tanakh, the Hebrew prophets, they point forward to the New Testament, but they reveal the human origins, the problem of sin. God is dealing with His chosen people, the ups and downs and the good and the bad. But in all these things, God is shaping His people in the purposes which He wants to give to us. And He reveals to us things about how God relates to people through these stories in the Old Testament. Tony Pearce
