“I am the Lord, I do not change.”

And this verse in Malachi actually does contain a clause which relates to Israel. He says, "I, the Lord, change not. Therefore, you sons of Jacob are not consumed". God is saying that because God is God and He has chosen Israel, He's going to keep them as a people. They're going to remain a people before the Lord. Even in unbelief, God has kept the Jewish people as an identifiable unit and brought them back to the land of Israel for purposes which are yet to be revealed in the coming of Yeshua, Jesus, the Messiah.
