There is a conversation happening in our culture that hasn't happened for a long time around the question of the right disposition of the church and its leadership towards a generation that is bent on destruction. For a long time, the church has largely been positive and amiable. Charlie Kirk's death heralded a new age in which a lot of the rising voices of a more bellicose disposition find themselves strengthened.

I selected some writings to consider as we look at these things:

Cordle articulates political silence from pulpit - https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1BXYELN71B/?mibextid=wwXIfr see Michael Clary for counterpoint- https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1Le2U46ePj/?mibextid=wwXIfr and Jamie Bambrick - https://x.com/jeffreyrickman/status/1974565809038270917?s=46&t=UGB_bVaMqYnX9gy5jXvGyg and Josh Howerton has American historical perspective - https://x.com/howertonjosh/status/1974981531157606470?s=61

I plan on spending our time today on this topic. I'll want your thoughts.
