Pagad joins Cloetesville residents in protest against violence

Residents of Cloetesville, near Stellenbosch, were joined by anti-crime group Pagad in a protest demanding stronger action against violence in their community. Pagad, which gained prominence in 1996 after the attack on gang leader Rashaad Staggie, has pledged to help curb illegal activities. Locals are also calling for greater police visibility and intervention.
