Palm Beach County, Florida – On September 13, 2025, police and fire rescue were dispatched to a possible overdose. When police arrived on scene, fire rescue was loading a female into the ambulance to receive medical care and evaluation. They met with the 911 caller, a nineteen-year-old female, who was with her friend after a night of partying. The female was severely distraught and refused to cooperate with police and fire rescue personnel during their investigation. When police tried to bring her home, she fled from them on foot. After a brief chase, she was caught and detained for fleeing and resisting. She was ultimately transported by fire rescue personnel for medical evaluation, due to signs of impairment, admitting to taking the same substances as her friend who overdosed, and hyperventilating after being caught by police. This video is a reminder of how important it is to stay calm and cooperate with law enforcement during emergencies.
