Restoration of the 7th Amendment In All Courts

Keep an eye on this SCOTUS case.
Thomas v. Humboldt County, California

We've been screaming about this since our inception.

You have a 7th Amendment right to a COMMON LAW JURY.

It's in the BILL OR RIGHTS!!
Let me explain.

If there were a STATUTE (code, ordinance, etc) that it was ILLEGAL to eat jelly beans on Sunday, and a police officer (policy revenue officer) saw me eating them while reading the Sunday paper, he could arrest me for "breaking the law".

Or so we think.

Reality: I would not enter a plea and send an Affidavit of Distinguishment and Notice To Vacate and tell them to have a bad day because the court would be administrative and not judicial.

But let's play in their world.

I would enter a plea of not guilty and demand my 7th Amendment right to a common law jury.

Most people think all juries are equal.
But they're not.

If I had a statutory jury, and the evidence is clear that I WAS eating jellybeans and it WAS Sunday, the judge would instruct the statutory jury they MUST find me guilty.

If I had a common law jury, and the evidence was clear that I WAS eating jellybeans and it WAS Sunday, but the ONLY CRITERIA to evaluate the case is....DID I HARM ANYONE?

No. I would be found not guilty by the common law jury.
People would WANT to be on common law juries because it also affects their lives.

This is why this case is monumental to the transformation and restoration to the entire American Legal System.

@DineshDSouza will tell you that when he was charged with nonsense, they put the pressure on him to take a deal because he'd never get a fair trial, he'd never get a common law jury as they don't exist today, and his small stint in prison was the lesser of two evils

Too many pleas are taken because of this pressure from the civil servants who care more for their numbers than ever establishing justice.

Put this case on a Google alert! It's a doozy!
