During a night dedicated to the great poet Jalal ad-Din Rumi, Pastor Mark Burns delivered a special address at the Museum of the Bible in Washington. Pastor Burns is a spiritual advisor to President Donald Trump, a spiritual diplomat, the founder of Harvest Praise & Worship Center, and co-founder of The NOW Television Network. The ALLATRA TV team had the honor of attending and capturing this remarkable event.

In his heartfelt and profound speech, Pastor Burns spoke about the need for human unity. He emphasized that faith must rise above fear, and bridges must be built where walls are erected.

He shared examples from his meetings with leaders and believers around the world, from Eswatini to Ukraine, from India to South Africa, highlighting one central insight: “We have far more in common than what divides us.”

In his address, he focused on several key statements:

“Muslims are not enemies. Jews, Christians, Muslims — we must stand together.”

“Bombs will never bring peace.”

“The problem is not faith itself, but the distortion of faith by evil people.”

Pastor Burns spoke about the horrors of war, the suffering of civilians, and the impossibility of defeating terrorism through violence. He noted that investing in relationships among people is what will truly bring peace.
