Exodus 3, ep 108

Hi, I’m Sal Lopez Executive Director of Ozark Hunger Relief, I am doing this to hopefully find some sponsors (tax deductible donations) for an office in Prairie Grove, Ar. I have seen and fed many children who wander around here. I thought if I started a non-profit, the community would be happy to help. Nope! I’ve had nothing but suspicion, derision, denial, and was eventually ripped off for everything I had, by another food pantry. They offered to let me work with their food pantry, then when I delivered everything I had, they told me to they couldn’t let me in their office, but subsequently asked me for more of my money. It has been horribly depressing, but I will persevere and get this office open.
My vision is to be a community resource center, but the main goal is to feed hungry kids, whose parents are drug addicts, and/or alcoholics. I guess some are just poor. Anyway, I need help and will advertise for you, and have signs of acknowledgement for every donor, proportionate for the donation. Remember to try to stay positive, you can choose your state of mind, so I offer this advice: Philippians 4:8

Anyway, this episode is on Exodus 3, The Burning Bush Breakthrough: God's "I AM" Promise Igniting Your Destiny in Exodus 3Good morning, dreamers and doers! Oh, what a magnificent morning the Lord has served up—sun kissing the sky, birds belting out breakthroughs, and favor flowing like a fresh river straight to your door! Can you feel that divine download? It's heaven high-fiving you, whispering, "I've been calling your name—get ready for the glow-up of a lifetime!" Today, we're stepping into the fire of Exodus chapter 3, where a simple shepherd named Moses encounters a bush that's blazing but not burning, and out steps God with a commission that changes everything. Friends, this isn't ancient history; it's your holy how-to for turning ordinary ground into holy ground! God says, "I've got a plan, and you're the star—let's light it up!" Picture it: Exodus 3:1-6. Moses is tending his father-in-law's flock in the backside of the desert—talk about a detour! But watch God show up in a bush aflame, flames dancing wild but the bush staying whole. "Do not come any closer," God calls, "Take off your sandals, for the place where you are standing is holy ground." Hallelujah! That bush wasn't consumed because God's presence protects and preserves! Just like you—maybe life's flames are flickering high right now, trials trying to torch your peace. But oh no, God's fire refines without ruining! As Isaiah 43:2 promises, "When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze." Your "bush" moment? It's breakthrough brewing—debts dancing out, doors flinging open. I declare: Step into that holy ground today; God's got the flames on a leash for your good! Now, verses 7-10 crank up the compassion: "I have indeed seen the misery of my people in Egypt. I have heard them crying out... So I have come down to rescue them... And now the cry of the Israelites has reached me... So now, go. I am sending you to Pharaoh to bring my people the Israelites out of Egypt." Boom! God doesn't just see—He swoops in with solutions! He's heard your groans too—that job snag, that family friction, that dream deferred. Friends, your midnight whispers are morning's marching orders! This echoes Psalm 34:17 so sweetly: "The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles." And in the New Testament, James 5:16 amps it: "The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective." Church, God's not aloof; He's activated—rescuing, redeeming, rocketing you to your Red Sea rendezvous! But let's get real in verses 11-12—Moses stutters, "Who am I that I should go to Pharaoh?" Classic us, right? Feeling unqualified, under-equipped. Yet God doesn't dismiss; He declares, "I will be with you. And this will be the sign to you that it is I who have sent you: When you have brought the people out of Egypt, you will worship God on this mountain." Yes! It's not about your resume—it's His "with you"! God turns "Who am I?" into "Watch what I do!" Just like Joshua 1:9 commands, "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go." And Isaiah 41:10 lifts it higher: "So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." Your excuses? Evaporating in His embrace—promotions pending, purposes popping! Oh, and verses 13-15—the name reveal that rewires everything! Moses asks, "What if they ask, 'What is his name?'" God replies, "I AM WHO I AM. This is what you are to say to the Israelites: 'I AM has sent me to you.'" Whew! Not "I was" or "I will be"—but "I AM," present, powerful, provision in every now! That's your lifeline: God is who He says He is, right here, right now! This thunders through John 8:58, where Jesus echoes, "Very truly I tell you, before Abraham was born, I am!" And Philippians 4:19 seals it: "And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus." Need healing? I AM Healer. Breakthrough? I AM Provider. Your "I AM" is activating abundance—finances flourishing, faith firing on all cylinders! So, what does Exodus 3 explode into your world today? It's your burning bush blueprint: Embrace the holy, echo the heard, erase the excuses, and exalt the "I AM"! That desert detail? It's destiny's doorstep. Your call isn't coming—it's crowning! Families favored, futures fabulous, flames forging favor.Stand tall, everybody! Declare with me: "Lord, I step into my holy ground! I thank You for hearing me, being with me, and being my I AM! Breakthroughs blaze now!" Feel that shift? That's shekinah glory!Let's pray it through: Heavenly Father, thank You for Exodus 3, turning bushes to beacons and doubts to dynamite. Ignite our steps, amplify our cries, and affirm Your I AM over every inch of our lives. In Jesus' powerful name, amen!Go claim your mountain—God's fire is for you, not against you!
