The government shutdown by the democrats is a disaster in the making FOR THEM.

They are about to put on full display how all their socialist programs and pet projects don’t really matter.

People think of a government shutdown as nothing more than the usual budget theatre in Washington, a game that has been played many times before, but this one feels different.

Most of the old bureaucracy has been sent home, labelled “non-essential”, while a new structure, Trump’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), continues to operate untouched. Forty-five hand-picked staff remain at the heart of the White House, exempt from furloughs, working while the rest of the machine grinds to a halt.

It feels like strategy.

A shutdown starves the old system, it weakens the entrenched career layers that we’ve come to know as “the swamp.” And at the very same time, DOGE keeps moving, laying the groundwork for something parallel, something leaner.

Back in October 2020, Trump signed Executive Order 13957 - the creation of “Schedule F.” It was a direct attempt to strip job protections from entrenched civil servants in policy-making roles so they could be removed and replaced. Biden killed it within days of taking office, but the blueprint remained. Thousands of positions had already been identified for reclassification.

Now, with this shutdown, we may be seeing the spirit of Schedule F come alive in practice. The old guard is furloughed, the new DOGE team is declared “essential,” and a quiet transfer of power inside the machinery of the state begins to unfold.
