I. People Desire to be seen as Righteous - Proverbs 22:1
* A. A good reputation is a good thing if it is based on a true standard of righteousness
* B. The “woke” standard is opposed to righteousness

II. God’s Standard is the only Standard - Ephesians 4:22-24
* A. Disciples are called to be renewed in the spirit of their mind
* 1. The brain is not your mind
* a. The soul of man is what makes him human
* b. We are made in the image and likeness of God
* 2. Sin has corrupted our mind and body
* a. Renewal of our mind is a spiritual accomplishment - Romans 12:2
* b. The Word of God is essential in that transformation of our mind - Ephesians 5:25-26
* B. Putting on the New Man - three essential aspects
