THE BOCC PRESENTS - “Ephesians 4 and the Narrow Way: Scripture Over Systems”
Ephesians 4:3–6 calls believers to guard the unity of the Spirit in one body, one Spirit, one hope, one Lord, one faith, one baptism, and one God and Father. This sermon contrasts that biblical unity with man-made systems and traditions that claim authority but deviate from the Word of God.
We examine three major streams:
• Christian Zionism — elevating the modern State of Israel as the ultimate fulfillment of prophecy, using Genesis 12:1–3 out of context, rather than recognizing the covenant people and Messiah’s kingdom as the focus of God’s promises.
• Catholicism — blending Scripture with human traditions, hierarchical authority, and sacramental systems that go beyond the simplicity of one faith, one baptism.
• Talmudic Judaism — reliance on oral traditions and rabbinic authority, often in opposition to the Messiah and the plain meaning of Torah.
Key Scriptures: Ephesians 4:3–6; Matthew 15:1-3,7-9; Romans 9:1–13.
Takeaways:
God’s Word calls for unity in truth, not unity in political or religious compromise.

Systems that exalt nations, institutions, or traditions above Christ deny the “one Lord, one faith, one baptism.”

The true biblical Israelites must rise above false teachings, repent, and cling to what is written.

📖 The message: Return to the Word of God, not the traditions of men.
