The Seven Churches of Revelation and the Seven men of Ezekiel 9 and 10
Lord, here am I. Isaiah 6:8

In the verses below we have an outline of a messengers calling. The number seven comes up over and over again. This is the Lords plan for the body of Christ and I believe it is a reference to one and all times but specifically the end times. Hot coals of fire are symbolic for the true Word of God in its purest form.

The Word of God has been contaminated in many ways. It starts with bad translations that are intentionally watering down the true word of God along with uneducated teachers. The traditions of men have made void the true word. I have yet to visit one Church that teaches what Smyrna and Philadelphia taught.

Revelation 1:20 The mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches: and the seven candlesticks which thou sawest are the seven churches.
Revelation 2:1 Unto the angel of the church of Ephesus write; These things saith he that holdeth the seven stars in his right hand, who walketh in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks;
Revelation 2:8 And unto the angel of the church in Smyrna write; These things saith the first and the last, which was dead, and is alive;
Revelation 2:12 And to the angel of the church in Pergamos write; These things saith he which hath the sharp sword with two edges;
Revelation 2:18 And unto the angel of the church in Thyatira write; These things saith the Son of God, who hath his eyes like unto a flame of fire, and his feet are like fine brass;
Revelation 3:1 And unto the angel of the church in Sardis write; These things saith he that hath the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars; I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, and art dead.
Revelation 3:7 And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth;
Revelation 3:14 And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;

Notice a pattern in the address to the seven Churches. First, it’s exhortation and then it’s rebuke. Then Christ speaks to the angel and tells him to write down the things that church is doing, right or wrong. In both the Greek and Hebrew languages “angel” means messenger and most likely these are people who are instructed by God to deliver a message.

Messengers should all use the same method as mentioned in 2 Timothy 4 below; You must be skilled in the Word of God. Apply this method if you’re evangelizing or teaching. Matthew 10 is another example to follow.

2 Tmothy 4:1 I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;
2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine.
3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;
4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

Five of the Churches had faults and Smyrna and Philadelphia did not. The faults were pointed out and solutions were given. First a departure from the first love in Ephesus and lastly Laodicea had become Luke-puke warm. Essentially, five stages in a downward spiral. In every case a departure from Gods True Word would be the cause.

In Ezekiel 9 and 10 we see a practical application of the solutions given by Christ in Revelation 2 and 3. The man with the inkhorn (Jesus) documented the error of each Church and the other six destroyed and slaughtered the false doctrine being taught. The churches of Philadelphia and Smyrna were marked with the Tav and passed by. They have the seal of God in their head or mind and were in good standing with God.
4 And the LORD said unto him, Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and set a mark (TAV) upon the foreheads of the men that sigh and that cry for all the abominations

Ezekiel 9 and 10 are an allegory or an outline on how to deal with false doctrine in House of God and also the public arena. We are to take dominion over sin and false doctrine and destroy it at every turn. Hot coals of fire are symbolic of truth and the natural order of things. We destroy false doctrine with hot coals of fire at every turn and then take dominion over every stronghold of satan.

Every Christian should learn how to defend the faith (Jude 1:3) and use Revelation 2 and 3 and Ezekiel 9 and 10 as a handbook for the success of Christianity. We as Christians should always take ground and never give it up. The modern version of Christianity is Laodicean, in the last stage before Christ gives them up. Christianity is in freefall because there is nobody defending the faith and there are no checks and balances on teaching.

Ezekiel 9:1 He cried also in mine ears with a loud voice, saying, Cause them that have charge over the city to draw near, even every man with his destroying weapon in his hand.

The WORD of GOD is the destroying weapon which is the Sword of the LORD. (Revelation 1:16) Knowing it is the key to success.

2 And, behold, six men came from the way of the higher gate, which lieth toward the north, and every man a slaughter weapon in his hand; and one man among them was clothed with linen, with a writer's inkhorn by his side: and they went in, and stood beside the brasen altar.
3 And the glory of the God of Israel was gone up from the cherub, whereupon he was, to the threshold of the house. And he called to the man clothed with linen, which had the writer's inkhorn by his side;
4 And the LORD said unto him, Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and set a mark (TAV) upon the foreheads of the men that sigh and that cry for all the abominations that be done in the midst thereof.
Mark those that are sealed in their minds with the Word of God
5 And to the others he said in mine hearing, Go ye after him through the city, and smite: let not your eye spare, neither have ye pity:
6 Slay utterly old and young, both maids, and little children, and women: but come not near any man upon whom is the mark; and begin at my sanctuary. Then they began at the ancient men which were before the house.
7 And he said unto them, Defile the house, and fill the courts with the slain: go ye forth. And they went forth, and slew in the city.
8 And it came to pass, while they were slaying them, and I was left, that I fell upon my face, and cried, and said, Ah Lord GOD! wilt thou destroy all the residue of Israel in thy pouring out of thy fury upon Jerusalem?
9 Then said he unto me, The iniquity of the house of Israel and Judah is exceeding great, and the land is full of blood, and the city full of perverseness: for they say, The LORD hath forsaken the earth, and the LORD seeth not. (Sodomy and transgender perverts)
10 And as for me also, mine eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity, but I will recompense their way upon their head.
11 And, behold, the man clothed with linen, which had the inkhorn by his side, reported the matter, saying, I have done as thou hast commanded me.

Ezekiel 10:1 Then I looked, and, behold, in the firmament that was above the head of the cherubims there appeared over them as it were a sapphire stone, as the appearance of the likeness of a throne.
2 And he spake unto the man clothed with linen, and said, Go in between the wheels, even under the cherub, and fill thine hand with coals of fire from between the cherubims, and scatter them over the city. And he went in in my sight.
3 Now the cherubims stood on the right side of the house, when the man went in; and the cloud filled the inner court.
4 Then the glory of the LORD went up from the cherub, and stood over the threshold of the house; and the house was filled with the cloud, and the court was full of the brightness of the LORD's glory.
5 And the sound of the cherubims' wings was heard even to the outer court, as the voice of the Almighty God when he speaketh.
6 And it came to pass, that when he had commanded the man clothed with linen, saying, Take fire from between the wheels, from between the cherubims; then he went in, and stood beside the wheels.
7 And one cherub stretched forth his hand from between the cherubims unto the fire that was between the cherubims, and took thereof, and put it into the hands of him that was clothed with linen: who took it, and went out.
8 And there appeared in the cherubims the form of a man's hand under their wings.

The great sealing of the end times is taking place right now
