And Samay shared hilarious reactions after that! 😜

Yes, he’s exactly who you think he is — Monal Kohli, the guy who proudly said on the show, “Wherever I go, that thing shuts down.”

Basically Monal appeared on Samay Raina's show India’s Got Latent and delivered that line… and funnily or ironically enough, the show did get shut down soon after.

This time, Samay ran into him on his flight to Delhi and shared a few Instagram stories. One was a picture of Monal with the text:
“Guess who I bumped into on my flight to Delhi. Am I cooked, chat?”

In another story, he wrote:
“Still Alive ❤️‍🔥”

Now tag your friends who can’t believe this encounter! 👀✈️

Note-
Panauti is a colloquial Hindi term often used to describe a person considered a bringer of bad luck or misfortune. The label is typically applied in a humorous, tongue-in-cheek manner, rather than as a serious superstition. When someone’s presence coincides with an unexpected failure, delay, or mishap, they might be playfully branded as a “panauti.”

In cultural usage, the word has moved beyond superstition and entered everyday banter, especially in popular media, memes, and comedy — a shorthand for blaming someone’s mere presence for an unfortunate outcome.
