Signs of the Times

The steady march of mankind from the beginning of Sin until the final horizon is plain to see for those who set their minds eye on these things. For others they are blinded completely and oblivious to the obvious. No man knows the Day or the Hour. This is true ,but the lawlessness across our lands which stands in the places of law enforcement, Judges, Towns , city and national governments, surely points to the topic. When the bastion of freedom has Christians being Murdered almost daily ,,,,How Long will it be before we crumble. Jesus himself warned His disciples, "Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me". This persecution will include suffering and death, and will occur alongside other signs of the end times. Some food for thought! “Signs of the Times” is a dark, emotionally charged #orchestralballad that blends personal heartbreak with a prophetic warning about societal collapse. Opening with sparse #piano or #acousticguitar in a minor key, the song slowly builds into a cinematic storm of #strings, #cinematicdrums, and ambient textures. Lyrically, it explores the unraveling of modern culture — referencing #civilunrest, #spiritualblindness, and #ideological division — through the eyes of someone who sees what others refuse to. The arrangement crescendos from haunting intimacy to full orchestral weight, evoking both sorrow and urgency. This is not just a breakup song; it’s a lament for a world on fire. #endtimes #propheticmusic #emotionalstorytelling
Lyrics:

The cities burn while the statues fall
Truth’s been traded for a louder call
Everyone’s shouting, but no one hears
Justice twisted by the weight of fear

Flags in flames, kings dethroned by rage
Marching lines spill onto every stage
No peace, no kings, no middle ground
Just echoes rising from a broken town

Black lives cry from a history deep
But even pain can be deceived
What’s freedom mean when hate just grows?
Even love can get lost in the smoke

The world’s unraveling thread by thread
While prophets whisper what lies ahead
And you were scrolling like nothing changed
Said it’s politics, not something strange

You changed the channel when the skies turned red
Called it weather, not the words the prophets said
I stayed up praying while you turned away
Tried to warn you, but you'd never stay

You said, "Why worry? We’ve got years to go,"
But I could feel the shaking in my soul
Storms in the heavens, fire in the seas
I begged you to believe, but you wouldn't see

You wrapped yourself in comfort and routine
While the trumpet sounded in a distant dream

I tried to tell you —
I saw the signs
But you just thought I was out of my mind
Told me it should be just about you and the kids
But you didn’t listen — I said it always is
The signs of the times,
Clear as could be
No matter what I said, you always knew better
Than me

Now the moon turns black, and the rivers dry
People run, but there’s nowhere to hide
Hearts are cold, love's growing thin
Still you say, “This can’t be the end”

I don’t want fear, I don’t want blame
I only wish you'd call on His name
But pride can build a wall too high
To see the truth through open eyes

You said I was obsessed with doom
But baby, the warnings are filling the room

I tried to tell you —
I saw the signs
But you just thought I was out of my mind
Told me it should be just about you and the kids
But you didn’t listen — I said it always is
The signs of the times,
Clear as could be
No matter what I said, you always knew better
Than me
Raw, half-spoken, emotionally cracked voice delivered

I don’t want to say "I told you so"
But I begged you not to let it go
There’s still time…
If you’d just believe
Fall on your knees…
Just open your eyes and see

Before the sky splits wide...
Before the last goodbye

I tried to tell you —
I saw the signs
You said I was lost, just wasting time
Told me you had to live while you could
But I never asked for more than you should
The signs of the times,
Raining down free
Still hoping one day, you’ll finally see
What was always clearer —
To me
