I took stock with Josh Hammer about the deal that has been announced by President Trump and Benjamin Netanyahu, the prospects for Hamas agreeing to it, and the implications if it goes into force for not only the people of Gaza, but also for the people of Israel, and for Western interests more generally very important conversation about an unfolding drama with many aspects that are deeply fraught, both for the state of Israel, I believe, for American interests as well.

Rod Martin and I discussed the implications of a government shutdown, whether the blame will be assigned, as it should, to Democrats, and whether Donald Trump will be able to, indeed, take advantage of it to terminate what are non-essential government employees.

We also talked about Israel, and not only has the deal been struck, but also an important technological breakthrough in terms of the operationalized deployment of the iron beam laser-based anti-missile and drone system. A breakthrough for Israel, possibly for the rest of the world as well.
