BioWare's Remaining Employees Are NOT Taking the EA Buyout News Well

The fallout from the Electronic Arts buyout is still being felt across the gaming industry. Speculation as to if this is or is not a good idea is running rampant, but one thing is for sure, change is coming.

One aspect of the deal coming to light is how EA is going to have to shoulder the burden of a $20 Billion debt. How they will deal with this has yet to be decided, but closing studios and massive layoffs isn't out of the ordinary for the company. One studio on the precipice of closing is BioWare and given their unrealized potential in recent releases, those still working there are justifiably nervous and equally melting down over the potential change in culture and how their progressive propaganda will no longer be required. Also, how they will no longer be allowed to soil the reputation of once great franchises.
