Day Ninety one, in 100 days prayer and fasting, | Friday, 3rd, October, 2025. Topic: DEPENDING On God.

Scriptures from New King James Version as follows:
1st Samuel 17 verse 45 to 51, Then David said to the Philistine, “You come to me with a sword, with a spear, and with a javelin. But I come to you in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied. This day the Lord will deliver you into my hand, and I will strike you and take your head from you. And this day I will give the carcasses of the camp of the Philistines to the birds of the air and the wild beasts of the earth, that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel. Then all this assembly shall know that the Lord does not save with sword and spear; for the battle is the Lord’s, and He will give you into our hands.” So it was, when the Philistine arose and came and drew near to meet David, that David hurried and ran toward the army to meet the Philistine. Then David put his hand in his bag and took out a stone; and he slung it and struck the Philistine in his forehead, so that the stone sank into his forehead, and he fell on his face to the earth. So David prevailed over the Philistine with a sling and a stone, and struck the Philistine and killed him. But there was no sword in the hand of David. Therefore David ran and stood over the Philistine, took his sword and drew it out of its sheath and killed him, and cut off his head with it. And when the Philistines saw that their champion was dead, they fled. Hallelujah!

Exodus 33 verse 15 to 17, Then he said to Him, “If Your Presence does not go with us, do not bring us up from here. For how then will it be known that Your people and I have found grace in Your sight, except You go with us? So we shall be separate, Your people and I, from all the people who are upon the face of the earth.” So the Lord said to Moses, “I will also do this thing that you have spoken; for you have found grace in My sight, and I know you by name.” Hallelujah!

1st Samuel 30 verse 8, So David inquired of the Lord, saying, “Shall I pursue this troop? Shall I overtake them?” And He answered him, “Pursue, for you shall surely overtake them and without fail recover all.” Hallelujah!

Spiritual summary and meditation:
It is trite and uncomplicated to state that to depend on God is the ability to trust and rely on him entirely and in all circumstances. This is because he cannot fail, mislead, misguide or disappoint you. Put in another way, it is absolute surrender to Divine will, control, direction and guidance. In Exodus 33 verse 15, Moses told the Lord, " if you do not go with us, don't make us leave this place.

This is an expression of trust, reliance, confidence, and desperate dependence on God. Allow the Lord to be involved and take control of all your affairs. Allow him to reign in your life and situation. Another good example is what happened in the battle between David and Goliath in 1st Samuel 17 verse 45 to 46, David told Goliath, firstly "you are coming against me with sword, spears, and javelin, but I am coming against you in the name of the Lord Almighty, the God of Israelite armies, whom you have defiled. "Secondly he told him that, "this day, the Lord will put you in my power, and I will defeat you and cut off your head." Thirdly, "then the whole world twill know that Israel has a God and everyone here will see that the Lord does not need swords or spears to save his people.

He is victorious in battle, and he will put all of you in our power." It is therefore explicit and unhidden that David exhaustively declared that the battle belongs to God and entirely dependent on him. He comprehensively transferred the battle, victory and the glory thereafter to God. Expectedly, the Lord took over ; the battle and granted him victory over Goliath. Also, in 1st Samuel 30 verse 8, when David and his men came back to Ziklag and discovered that the Amalekites have burnt down the town and carried away their wives, children and properties, they were terribly overwhelmed by grief and pain.

They cried bitterly until they were totally exhausted. David then inquired from the Lord whether he should pursue them and if will he overtake them. The Lord told him to pursue, for he shall surely overtake and recover all. That was also an expression of trust,
dependence, and confidence in the Lord. Also, when Daniel was thrown in the pit filled with lions, he expressed confidence and trust in the Lord. Conclusively, In Daniel 3 verse 16 to 18, Meshach, Shadrach and Abednego expressed maximum trust and confidence in the Lord, even in the face of being burnt in the blazing fire. They told the King that the Lord is capable of saving them, but even if the Lord decides not to save them, that they will still not serve his god or bow down to his golden statue. Before the end of this program, the Lord will intervene in your situation. As he granted David victory over Goliath, he will grant you victory over your enemies, Your enemies will undertake a journey of no return. Your enemies will die your death, because you are unharmable, unkillable and indestructible, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

PRAYER For DIVINE SECURITY And VICTORY Over ENEMIES.

Who can battle with the Lord? I say nobody. On this day, Lord, I call upon you for divine wisdom, grace and power to conquer all enemies around my life. Enemies that roar about my life, business and family, to destroy them; enemies that disguise themselves as angels of light, enemies of my progress. Father as they stand up every day to do any evil against me, let all their plans be frustrated; because your word says in Isaiah 54 verse 15, "that they shall surely gather together, not by me; whomsoever shall gather against me shall fall for my sake". As they go about trying to locate me for evil, may they miss their directions in Jesus name. Amen.

I stand on the word of God that says, "If God be for me, nobody will be against me" (Romans 8 verse 31). And your word also says in Isaiah 54 verse 14, "that I will be far from every oppression of my enemies". Unknown enemies waiting to hunt me or my family down, may they be disgraced in Jesus name. Amen.

Lord, surround me and my family with your fire. Let your fire be a wall around us wherever we go. Let it become a divine security against all evil powers of darkness. Amen.

Lord, let my life and family be hidden in the divine security of your name; for your name is a strong tower to which the righteous run and is safe. Thank you, Jesus. Amen.
