Combat Training of Contract Soldiers in Assault Units of the Western Armed Forces Group

Contract soldiers from the 25th Combined Arms Army's assault units conducted combat training and coordination exercises in a rear area of the Special Military Operation (SMO) zone before executing missions at forward positions.

On a training polygon, soldiers practiced tactics for capturing fortified enemy positions. An BMP-2 crew rehearsed assault algorithms, moving stealthily to the starting position before disembarking and attacking a simulated enemy trench. They utilized standard firearms and hand grenades to enhance close-quarter combat skills in conditions similar to actual combat.

Each soldier trains until actions become second nature, and only after completing the full course do they proceed to the frontline to carry out combat missions.
