House Democratic Leader Hakeem Jeffries Responds to Dem. Sen. John Fetterman Calling for Dems Not to Call Trump Supporters ‘Nazis’

BALLASY: “Quick question about Fetterman. He’s out saying that Democrats should not be describing Trump supporters as Nazis or comparing the president to Hitler. He doesn’t think that line — “
Jeffries: “I’ve never used that language.”
BALLASY: “But do you think others in the party should — “
Jeffries: “I’ve never used that language.”
BALLASY: “And what do you think about where things stand on the shutdown?”
Jeffries: “I’ve never used — listen, Republicans need to get back in town. House Republicans are on vacation, House Democrats on duty.”
BALLASY: “And do you plan to possibly do the health care debate separate from the CR and the spending that’s — “
Jeffries: “We need to reopen the government. We need to enact a spending agreement that meets the needs of the American people. And we need to address the Republican health care crisis.”
