Riding my 32-yr old horse at dawn

I have not ridden Sassy much since we moved to Florida. There are no state park trails adjacent to our house like in Washington. The local road is busy and cars fly by too close. I have a lot going on with the farm, vlogs and homeschooling two kids. There is always something. This morning I woke up at 5A and I decided, no more excuses. It’s time for these two old ladies to get back in shape. My goal is to get us out to sorting practice at the ranch down the road. Since Sassy is 32 years old, turning 33 in April, we may only walk next to the cows. But we will do it knowing that over 3 decades ago, an 11-year old and her tiny brand new filly started this adventure - and whatever we have done, whether old or new, we have done it together.
