Posted • October 1, 2025: The Democrats are attempting to push a pair of narratives during the government shutdown that started at midnight. The first is that they in no way are trying to put taxpayers on the hook for the health care of people in the country illegally, and the second is "the shutdown is totally on Trump and the Republicans." This is a Schumer shutdown, but don't take our word for it. Democrat Rep. Maxine Waters was essentially tricked into admitting a core reason the shutdown is taking place.
