The conversation has bubbled up on X/Twitter once more regarding the practice of book piracy, with pro-piracy and anti-piracy folks giving their full-throated support or condemnation of the practice. I'm going to talk a little about the topic, discuss some relevant bits to bear in mind when thinking over the topic, including erroneous comparisons lobbed by pro-book-piracy at anti-book-piracy folks, and talking books generally speaking.
