Mad Squirrel, Minor Break, Major Waste: RimWorld’s Trivial Event Problem (A Patient Gamer Rant)

I adore RimWorld… and it still turns epic colony stories into an errand simulator. Today I’m ranting (lovingly) about the tiny QoL gaps and trivial events that constantly pause the fun—“Ate without table,” tattered apparel spam, mad squirrels, minor breaks, short circuits, no material upgrades without deconstructing, one missing trap, caravan UI purgatory, and a thousand micro-clicks that slow a great game to a crawl. If you’ve ever hit Speed 3 only to be stopped by five popups in ten seconds… this one’s for you.

TL;DW (Too Long; Didn’t Watch): RimWorld is amazing—but its QoL gaps and constant interruptions turn “story generator” into “errand simulator.” A few smart fixes (smarter defaults, batch actions, better notification controls) would turbo-charge the fun for patient gamers.
