A Texas man, Domingo Quintana, called 911 after allegedly rescuing his children from a pond where he reportedly said his wife, Jessica, had drugged them with Nyquil and tried to drown them. While he was initially cooperating with investigators and not charged in connection to that incident, Quintana was later arrested on an unrelated misdemeanor animal cruelty charge after deputies discovered emaciated animals on the family’s property. Meanwhile, records show the Quintanas face significant financial and legal troubles, including unpaid taxes and lawsuits, as their children remain in CPS custody and Jessica recovers in the hospital. Law&Crime’s Chris Stewart is On the Case.
