Well that should get things going. The shutdown appears to be a brilliant Trump Trap for the Democrats. They, being Democrats, thought they could follow the playbook where shutdowns benefit Democrats because the Leftist media lies and blames Republicans.

The trap is that Trump wanted to drastically reduce the size of government anyway. So he maneuvered the Democrats to vote for a shutdown. Now Trump has no choice but to do what he wanted to do anyway. But now it's not Trump cutting the government, it's Trump responding and doing what he has to do because of the Democrat shutdown. Perception is reality...
