AEW Dynamite 10/1/25 was like a wrestling smoothie—just a bunch of stuff thrown in, blended up, and poured out without flavor.

The show opened with Josh Alexander & The Young Bucks vs. Brodido & Kenny Omega—a “let’s all do moves” match. No story, no psychology. Omega hit the One Winged Angel to win, and Andrade returned just to attack Kenny and join the Don Callis Family. Cool? I guess?

Then came the TNT Title Match—Kyle Fletcher vs. Orange Cassidy. Originally, it was supposed to be for Hologram, but surprise—he can’t wrestle. So Hologram betrayed Orange, hung him up by the crotch like a piñata, and Kyle won with a turnbuckle brainbuster. Turns out… Hologram was Cion or Zion or something. Honestly? Just dumb.

Main event: Death Riders vs. Hangman Page & The Opps (Samoa Joe and Hobbs). Page hits the Buckshot for the win. And then they tease “tension” between Hangman and Joe. Why? Who cares? Crowd didn’t.

Toni Storm beat Tay Melo in a total nothing match and wants a title shot against Kris Statlander. Fine. Go for it. Whatever.

GOA squashed Blake Christian and Lee Johnson with a double chokeslam in a match that made me question if my stream froze. Spoiler: it didn’t. Just boring.

And in the final embarrassment—Darby Allin & Kris Statlander vs. Wheeler Yuta & Marina Shafir… Why? Crowd didn’t know. I didn’t know. Coffin Drop ends it in a bad match.

And that, folks, was Dynamite. No boom. Just bust.
