Banks ransacked and burnt in Morocco as youth protests spread

Damaged and charred buildings of financial institutions were seen in the Moroccan city of Sale on Thursday (October 2) a day after groups of young men in densely populated neighborhoods hurled stones at police, looted shops, set banks ablaze, and torched police vehicles, according to witnesses.
