Proverbs 18:15 New King James Version
15 The heart of the prudent acquires knowledge,
And the ear of the wise seeks knowledge.

GOOD EVENING IN YESHUA MY FRIENDS!!!
I know I've shared with you guys before the book of proverbs how I have come to really re appreciate this precious book, but I want to share with you why I have come to this precious conclusion from the Lord. Instructed, and getting any kind of teaching, I was more than abrasive. You see I grew up in an environment where verses of scripture out of this book were used against me in an unchristian like, unkind, and yes even abusive fashion, so when it came to being given any kind of instructive or constructive criticism, I would be abrasive as all get out.

I think it wasn't until I took a really wonderful course in college called Old Testament Poetics that I really got to understand both Psalms and Proverbs properly, so when I read verses like what I read today, I appreciate them in differently a much different and better fashion. That's why I really truly appreciate and really have been taking in the questions from this morning's devotional, and I had to share them with you today. Please read these questions carefully, and I pray that God will speak to your heart too.

What’s your default reaction to criticism?

How could a humble response lead to growth and victory?

Tonight, my friends, I'd like to share some things that I have been learning on this issue, and I'm still learning, through this vlog I'd like to share with all of you tonight, and I pray that you listen very carefully to what I have to say. Most of all I pray that you not only listen, but take it into your heart, and ask God to show you whether or not what I'm saying is true. Come join me in this vlog tonight my friends and learn what it means to respond with a teachable heart in wisdom! 😊

So, my friends, as I close this post with all of you tonight, I pray that you not only carefully listen to what I'm saying here but examine what I'm saying against God's word. See whether or not what I'm saying goes according to scripture, and if it does, I pray that you listen and obey. If you see that what I'm saying doesn't go according to God's word, then feel free to ignore it. I know one thing for certain; I want to make sure that I'm carefully listening to the voice of God, and not the voice of someone that claims to be speaking for God. I want to make sure that I'm carefully examining and looking at everything that somebody says, according to God's word, and proceed accordingly. I know Karen was very much correct when she stated, “It’s not easy to stay teachable, but it also brings freedom to admit we don’t know it all and we still need help. Wisdom calls to us. How will we respond?”

UNTIL FRIDAY:

HAVE A TRULY TRANQUIL EVENING IN CHRIST JESUS!!!
