Countries Like UK and Vietnam Roll Out Digital IDs, Eroding Freedoms

On September 26, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer announced the launch of a digital ID program. Meanwhile, the State Bank of Vietnam has deactivated over 86 million bank accounts since September 1, 2025, due to failure to pass biometric verification related to digital ID requirements.
