Honoring Jerry Naumoff: UMD Macedonian Heritage Public Service Award

The United Macedonian Diaspora (UMD) recognized the extraordinary contributions of our esteemed UMD Advisory Council Member, Jerry Naumoff, with the UMD Macedonian Heritage Public Service Award during the UMD’s 20th Anniversary Gala and the Macedonian Diaspora 40 Under 40 Awards Ceremony on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at the Detroit Marriott at the Renaissance Center.

Jerry Naumoff’s lifelong commitment to advancing Macedonia’s prosperity, his dedication to public service, and his tireless efforts to elevate the global Macedonian community are truly exemplary. From his impactful tenure as Macedonia’s Minister for Foreign Direct Investment, to his leadership as Chairman Emeritus and Founding Partner of Taskforce BPO—one of Southeast Europe’s fastest growing companies—Jerry has championed job creation, economic growth, and global recognition for Macedonia.

Today, he continues his leadership as Lead Independent Director of the Board of Rumble and as Chair of the Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee, in addition to serving on the Audit Committee.

Beyond his professional achievements, Jerry’s deep-rooted Macedonian heritage and personal story—growing up in a tight-knit Macedonian immigrant family in Columbus, Ohio—reflect the very values UMD was founded upon. Alongside his beloved wife LuAnn, their six children, and eight grandchildren, Jerry continues to inspire with his unwavering commitment to Macedonia’s future.
