A night in the fields with Colt from Coyote Academy turned into one of the most memorable hunts yet. From confirming zero and working out suppressor blowback to making multiple stands and dealing with smart coyotes slipping downwind, it was a night full of challenges, laughs, and learning.

But persistence paid off. After some close calls, we finally lined up a perfect countdown double. Both coyotes dropped, marking our first double together and a reminder of why we hunt—not just for predator control, but for the camaraderie, teamwork, and memories that come with it.
