Reading Audiobooks for Fun and Profit

Quite a few nice people out there tell me they enjoy my voice.

“You should narrate audiobooks,” they say.

Truth is: I try!

I audition to read audiobooks quite a bit.

Sometimes I even get a stray opportunity here and there.

Unfortunately, you won’t find my name on many of them, because they are so God-awful, I don’t want to be associated with them.

At all.

Sure, I’ll take their money, I have bills to pay and almost no integrity, but I don’t want anyone Googling “nathan timmel” to think I had anything to do with the writing of the slop I record.

Anyway, this is a 100% true story.

Not included: the fact I actually landed the self-help audiobook.

(And no, you can’t find it. I kept my name as far away from it as possible.)
