A year ago Kazan and Shanghai were connected for the first time in history by a direct flight

🎊 🎉 The route was opened by China Eastern Airlines.

The first flight 🛩 was 100% full. The air route immediately became very popular among residents of the Republic of Tatarstan and nearby regions, as well as among residents of the People's Republic of China.

❗️ Reminder: since mid-September 2025, Chinese authorities have introduced a 30-day visa-free regime for Russian citizens.

Currently, Shanghai-Kazan-Shanghai flights operate on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays:
• departure from Kazan at 20:00, arrival at the destination at 09:00 the next day;
• departure from Shanghai at 12:30, landing at Kazan Airport at 17:00.

Local time is indicated for each airport. Shanghai time is 5 hours ahead of Moscow time. Flight duration ⏱️ is about 9 hours.
