OUT OF THE DARK AND INTO GOD’S LIGHT

John 8:12 New King James Version
12 Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.”

GOOD EVENING IN YESHUA EVERYBODY!!!
I don't know about any of you, but during this past month, I feel like Satan is trying to put a dark curtain over our nation and put us in a dark place of despair. That ever since not just the school shooting in Minnesota, but what happened with Charlie Kirk I feel like Satan is trying something really nasty but I'm also seeing in the midst of it that God's light is still continuing to shine, the name of Jesus is still being preached, and souls are coming to know Him like nothing else. However, I'm also very encouraged, because God states that those who walked in that darkness have seen a great light, and that light is none other than His son Jesus Christ! That Christ Jesus is the light of the world as this verse above states, and the awesome thing is we don't need to walk in darkness, but we can be set free from it and put in the light of life that Christ offers.

Tonight, my friends, I'd like to share some things that God showed me from this morning scripture, as well as this verse above, through this vlog I'd like to share with all of you tonight, and I pray that what I share with you encourages your hearts especially after what's been taking place this past month. So, my friends, as I close this post with all of you tonight, I want to leave you with these questions from this morning's devotional, and I pray that God challenges and encourages your hearts through them.

What darkness are you facing?

How do you need Jesus to be your light and bring you out of it?

I want to reach out tonight to those who are suffering from depression, feeling like you're in a dark place that you believe you can't get out of, and a reaching in desperation for hope that you think you can't have. That hope, that source of true light, is found in none other than Jesus Christ, and you can have that today! I don't know what you're going through right now, but I want you to know that God understands is there for you and is not going to let you down. I pray that you remember that as Winn states so very well, that “Christ is “the light of the world,” and in Him we need never again fear the darkness for we “have the light of life” (John 8:12). We may feel trapped or hopeless, alone or in despair, but God illuminates good news. Jesus carries us out of the dark and into His marvelous light.”
