I ruined my PC and ALL My Microsoft Accounts By Turning Off Smart App Control
This is a lesson on what not to do on your PC and to be wary of following guides and instructions from YouTube videos and online tutorials without understanding the risks and potential damage or hassle you can create for yourself!

Most of my problems started with disabling the Smart App Control feature in Windows 11.
This was necessary to mount the Windows 11 25H2 ISO image, and combined with the fact I was enrolled in the Windows Insider Program, I really wanted to be removed from it, but as i have found out once you are in, thats pretty much it, if you want to leave you really need to perform a fresh install, which I thought the ISO would achieve.

The biggest and slighty concerning problem is when I turned off Smart App Control, which is supposed to be a machine level change, somehow it also managed to change all my other Windows accounts with the same user ID to also turn off Smart App Control.
This seems to be a known bug or issue that Microsoft are aware of but don't fully understand the mechanism of who it works and could be related to the devices being similar machines or the Windows image being similar on the machines.

Anyway this should be a PSA or heads up that even if you have backups and recovery plans, this specific setting can't be undone without a completely fresh install. Which sucks.
