HCR 22 Resolution in the Ohio House Education Committee urges the school districts in Ohio to have the school children from the 1st through 12th grades read The Declaration of Independence in celebration of our nation's 250th birthday. The resolution states that schools are encouraged to provide formal classroom time for students to read and discuss The Declaration of Independence during the 2025-2026 school year.
