Defining Pride, it's definition and meaning.

Pride: Self glorification through bragging and boasting of works and accomplishments by one's own efforts, skill, might or associations -- gloating that you don't need anyone else or didn't need them for your success or gain.

Prideful people have the tendency to;

seek glory seek to control their own lives (some even try to control others)

* through there desire for glory & self adoration, they avoid giving God the praises avoiding giving God His credit due.

* they glory in their independence and achievements thinking highly of themselves & lowly unto all who they feel are not on their level, envying those who are better. They desire to say I, I, I and my, my, my -- I did this and I did that, I earned this and I earned that, I'm this, or I'm that..... I .... I .... (I BETTER GIVE GOD THE GLORY!)

All praises to the Most High God the Great I AM ( אהיה ) in the name of His Son Our Lord & Saviour the Messaih ( ישע ) Christ, who is soon to Return! Repent for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand!
