Beneath the 12-Mile Reef, 1953

Off the coast of Florida, a Greek father and son pair named Mike and Tony Petrakis go sponge diving. Mike chooses to lead his crew to the perilous 12-mile reef to dive for additional sponges after they are plundered by thieves Arnold and the Rhys brothers. Tony is left to continue the business after Mike dies in a fatal accident after falling off the reef.
