🚨 Oakland County Woman Charged with 18 Felonies After Violent Incident in Warren

A 30-year-old woman from Oakland County, identified as Rachele Ricklefs, is facing 18 felony charges following a disturbing series of events that unfolded in Warren, Michigan. Authorities say Ricklefs intentionally drove her black Jeep into a crowd of people on Friday, with her 6-year-old daughter in the vehicle at the time.

According to Warren police, multiple emergency calls were received reporting pedestrians being struck. Ricklefs allegedly hit 10 civilians and one police officer before being apprehended in the parking lot of Walmart on Van Dyke Avenue. During her arrest, she reportedly bit and kicked an officer.

Earlier that same evening, Clawson police had encountered Ricklefs. Officers say her 12-year-old son exited the vehicle, after which she fled the scene, colliding with two Clawson police cruisers.

Ricklefs was arraigned on Monday, September 29, 2025, in the 37th District Court in Warren before Judge Edward Servitto. She faces the following charges:

- 10 counts of Assault with Intent to Murder (life felony)
- 2 counts of Fleeing a Police Officer – Third Degree (5-year felony)
- Additional charges are pending.

Her bond was set at $750,000 cash or surety, with no 10% provision. Investigators have not confirmed a motive, but preliminary reports suggest she may have been experiencing a mental health crisis.
