The Smashing Machine - Movie Review

A24's The Smashing Machine Movie Review - Dwayne Johnson tries his hand at some actual acting in this true story about UFC champion, Mark Kerr. Emily Blunt joins him for some outside the ring fights. I went into The Smashing Machine, hoping for another powerful story like we got with A24's other film, The Iron Claw. Unfortunately, this is a much simpler, less emotional story. Not a bad movie but it left something to be desired. Especially, with a 2 hour runtime.
