A Stranger In Town, 1943

Bill Adams is a local lawyer who is running for mayor of Crown Port, a tiny town, in an attempt to dismantle the corrupt municipal leaders.  It appears that the odds are stacked against him when he is assisted by a visiting hunter who, unbeknownst to Adams and the rest of the community, is actually a Supreme Court justice on vacation.
